          Sinopsis
Based on a true story, Percy is a touching and emotional novel as told by Percy, a German Shepherd mix living in an animal shelter for over two years. More than a simple dog story, this heartwarming tale is intended as an allegory of a spiritual journey. From Percy’s idyllic beginnings in a loving family, to the years spent waiting in a shelter nestled in the mountains of Southern California, she lived in the kennel for such a long period because of the shelter’s no-euthanize policy. Percy’s experiences are very real, and she has a pure and honest way of answering the challenges in life that young readers will respond to. Percy’s story is a profound account of the "cycles of life" relevant to us all. Her experiences are very real and she has a pure and honest way of responding to the challenges she faces. There is feeling of hope, and despite the odds, Percy finds her treasure at the end of the rainbow. Readers will be mesmerized by Percy’s world, experiencing a time when life was simple and uncluttered, as seen through a gentle "dog’s eyes."
