Elia Barceló (Elda, Alicante, 1957) es escritora, doctora en Hispanística y profesora en la Universidad de Innsbruck (Austria). Ha publicado diecinueve novelas de distintos géneros, nueve de ellas para lectores jóvenes. Ha sido traducida a dieciocho idiomas y ha recibido varios premios literarios, así como el Premio Edebé en dos ocasiones. Specialising in dark fantasy and horror, Angela Slatter is the author of the Aurealis Award-winning The Girl with No Hands and Other Tales, the World Fantasy Award finalist Sourdough and Other Stories, Aurealis finalist Midnight and Moonshine (with Lisa L. Hannett), among others. She is the first Australian to win a British Fantasy Award, holds an MA and a PhD in Creative Writing, is a graduate of Clarion South and the Tin House Summer Writers Workshop, and was an inaugural Queensland Writers Fellow.

Lucy A. Snyder is the Bram Stoker Award-winning author of Spellbent and Shotgun Sorceress, and the collections as well as the story and poetry collections Sparks and Shadows, Chimeric Machines, and Installing Linux on a Dead Badger. Her writing has appeared in Strange Horizons, Weird Tales, Hellbound Hearts, Doctor Who Short Trips: Destination Prague, Chiaroscuro, GUD, and Lady Churchill's Rosebud Wristlet. A Texas native, she lives in Worthington, Ohio, with her husband and occasional co-author, Gary A. Braunbeck.

Rachel Swirsky is the author of A Memory of Wind; Eros, Philia, Agape; and The Monster's Million Faces, all available on Tor.com. Her short fiction has appeared in Weird Tales, Fantasy Magazine, and Subterranean Magazine, among others, and been collected in Year's Best anthologies edited by Rich Horton, Jonathan Strahan, and the VanderMeers. Swirsky earned her master's from the University of Iowa Writers Workshop. In 2011 Swirsky won the Nebula Award for her novella "The Lady Who Plucked Red Flowers beneath the Queen's Window," making her the first person in two decades to win a Nebula before turning thirty. She lives in Bakersfield, California.
