Alfred W. Pollard (1859–1944) was an English writer, bibliographer, and professor at the University of London. He was highly regarded for bringing a new level of scholarship to the study of Shakespearean texts. His writings include A New Shakespeare Quarto: Richard II (1916), and The Foundations of Shakespeare's Text (1923).
