- Sinopsis
- "The Wine-ghosts of Bremen" is a humorous tale told by the German poet and novelist Wilhelm Hauff. A young man steps out of his house on his way to a tavern where he will encounter quite some interesting characters. Not least among them the different casks of wines that he humorously invents nicknames for, that he will enjoy in the company of his friends and acquaintances.
- Acerca de Wilhelm Hauff
Wilhelm Hauff, geboren am 29. November 1802 in Stuttgart, erhielt seine Schulausbildung ab 1817 in der Klosterschule Blaubeuren und studierte von 1820 bis 1824 Theologie und Philosophie in Tübingen. Er war zeitweilig als Hauslehrer tätig und reiste nach Frankreich und Norddeutschland. 1826 hatte er mit dem historischen Roman "Lichtenstein" großen Erfolg; bekannt war er vor allem für seine Kunstmärchen. Hauff wurde 1827 Redakteur des "Morgenblatts für gebildete Stände", er starb am 18. November desselben Jahres infolge eines Nervenfiebers.
