"The Confessions of a Daddy" is a beautiful and humorous novella bout life in the countryside society of America of the early 20th century. Written in a light and cheerful manner, the story tells of the joys and sorrows of the family life. The couple described in the book is a typical American family weighing in and out the chances to have children. The narrator – a husband of the family – describes how peaceful his life was before having children and how fussy it became after having them. Yet, what reads as a complaint is a humorous storyline of one's happiness of having a great family.
